Jordan Rosenfeld

Jordan E. Rosenfeld has been writing for the better part of 20 years. She holds a B.A. in Liberal Arts from the Hutchins School and an MFA in Creative Writing and Literature from the Bennington Writing Seminars. Jordan has taught private writing workshops at a wide range of institutions including the Sebastopol Center for the Arts, Gavilan College, the California Writer’s Club, and at conferences such as East of Eden and Mendocino Writers’ Conferences.

Kelly Boyer Sagert

Kelly Boyer Sagert, a member of the American Society of Journalists and Authors (ASJA), the Authors Guild and the Society of Professional Journalists (SPJ) has sold well over 1,000 pieces of her writing to magazines, newspapers, online sites, encyclopedias and literary journals. Her first play, Freedom Light: A Stop on the Underground Railroad, will debut in May, 2009.

Betty Jo Schuler

Betty Jo Schuler has written for all ages—children, teens, and adults—and has had twenty books published.Ice Cream For Breakfast (Willowisp, 1991), the story of a town where everything is backward, was her first published chapter book for children.

Mark Spencer

Mark Spencer is the author of A Haunted Love Story (nonfiction novel, Llewellyn Worldwide, 2012), The Masked Demon (novel, Main Street Rag, 2012), Images of America: Monticello (local history, Arcadia Publishing, 2011), The Weary Motel (a novel, winner of the Omaha Prize for the Novel, published by The Backwaters Press), Only Missing (a novella, winner of the Faulkner Society’s Faulkner Award for Fiction), Love and Reruns in Adams County (novel, Fawcett-Columbine/Random House), Wedlock, (two novellas and three short stories, Watermark Press), and Spying on Lovers (short stories, winner of the Patrick T.T. Bradshaw Book Award sponsored by Amelia Press).

Joe Stollenwerk

Joe Stollenwerk has taught for Writer’s Digest since 2005, having also taught English Composition at the University of Cincinnati, Xavier University, and Cincinnati State Technical and Community College, where he also tutors writing students online. He earned an MA in English and a Master of Education at Xavier University, where one of his areas of specialization was tutoring writers. He also holds a BA in Drama from Kenyon College and is currently a PhD student at Indiana University studying Theatre.

Karlyn Thayer

Many different roads have led to publishing success for Karlyn Thayer. Her published literary stories include “From the Halls of Montezuma to Manhattan,” which was nominated for the Pushcart Literary prize.While most of Karlyn’s publishing success has been in the field of romance, she enjoys writing in other genres, including science fiction, horror and humor.
